The stylist also discusses trade-offs such as visual balance, potential added weight, and maintenance implications. This meeting is priced at $40 and lasts 50 MINUTES, held on Tuesdays only, giving you a concise evaluation and a realistic sense of what a follow-up attachment appointment will involve.
Planning placement and method
Placement decisions are guided by your current parting map, desired length or fullness, and the goal of a seamless blend. Your stylist will outline method choices appropriate for your locs and explain why one approach suits your hair better than another, so you leave with an informed recommendation rather than a single assumed solution.
Local factors such as Los Angeles’s Mediterranean climate and daily routines also shape the plan — for example, how new length behaves in warm, dry summers versus mild winters. We schedule consultations to suit commuters and shoppers in the Pico/La Cienega corridor, so planning can fit into before-or-after visit timing around nearby landmarks.
What happens after consultation
You receive a tailored plan that describes recommended placement, a suggested attachment method, and a practical next-step timeline. The consultation clarifies expected maintenance considerations and helps you decide whether to book the attachment session next; it does not automatically include the attachment unless you and your stylist agree to schedule one.
